Richard "Dick" Miller Obituary
Richard ("Dick") Franklin Miller, 82, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019. He was born on February 10, 1936, in Alhambra, California, to his parents James and Clara.

Dick attended Caltech, Northwestern University and the University of Southern California, earning degrees in Chemical Engineering and Management. While working at Unocal Corporation, he met his wife of 49 years, Kathy, who recently passed away. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Jim and John. The family lived in Huntington Beach, Moraga, and Palos Verdes Estates (since 1981) and made lifelong friends with each move.

Dick was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who cherished his family. He had a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry and enjoyed skiing, bowling, fishing, playing bridge and everything his wife cooked. He will be missed but his family takes comfort that he has been reunited with the love of his life, Kathy.
