Redondo Beach resident Kristin Dunham, mom, wife, and best friend extraordinaire, passed away in Los Angeles, CA with her loving family by her side on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Kristin, was born on August 31, 1966 in Summit, NJ to the late Peter Wood, and Judy Frizell LeVien. The oldest of three children, she spent her teenage years in Doylestown PA, swimming the butterfly & rifle twirling for the Central Bucks East Patriots.

Kristin went on to become a member of Alpha XI Delta sorority and received her Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College. Upon graduation, she went to work for Enterprise Rent A Car, where she met the love of her life, Kevin Dunham. Kevin convinced Kristin to move from cold Philadelphia to the Golden shores of the South Bay. Together, they were blessed with a son Dash and a daughter Katy who were the greatest joys of her life. Raising their children in Redondo Beach, Kristin was a strong supporter of Beach Soccer, Redondo Beach Little League, RUHS Baseball and Sacramento State Hornets Baseball program.

Kristin lived life to the fullest with family and friends. Her giving and energetic spirit allowed her to create fun and happiness at every turn. Kristin was always the first to lend a hand, give advice, and most importantly, share in both laughter and sorrow.

Kristin is survived by her mother and stepfather, Judy and Frank Levien, husband Kevin Dunham, son Dash Dunham, daughter Katy Dunham, sister Pamela Hext, and brother Jonathan Wood as well as two Yellow Labs Ace and Olive.

A private family service is planned per Kristin's wishes.

Kevin, Dash and Katy: Sending our sincere condolences, love and prayers to all of you! We are absolutely heartbroken to learn of this news! Kristin ALWAYS had a smile and a welcoming way about her.....such a genuine person, always kind and generous! From meeting her when our boys were babies and in daycare at SeaSprites through elementary at Jefferson and our championship Little League Team!!! Kristin had an amazing way of making people feel welcome and comfortable and I have so many memories of nervously entering a room, event or assembly and feeling instant calm when I ran into Kristin who was surrounded by a harem of friends, yet always saw me. This angel needs no training, I hear the bells ringing xoxo
