Bradford Merritt Hait died peacefully at home on August 31, 2019 surrounded by his family; he was 85 years old. Brad is survived by his loving wife Lee White, his first wife Margie and their daughter Hilary Hait-Roebuck, son-in-law Ronnie Roebuck, grandchildren Sage Merritt Roebuck and Satchel Quinn Roebuck, sister-in-law Brenda Hait and niece Wendy Hait-Smith.

Bradford grew up and attended school in Madison, New Jersey, preceded in death by his parents Jane and Mortimer Hall Hait and brother Dr. Tim Hait.

After graduating from Lafayette college in eastern Pennsylvania he served 2 years for the army in Verona, Italy. Brad began his career in the stock market with E.F. Hutton in San Jose, California and finished as the manager of Shearson - Lehman American Express in Palos Verdes, California. Bradford met Lee White in 1977, tying the knot on the Queen Mary in April 1985. Brad was a Hermosa local living in his beach cottage for 40+ years. Brad and Lee enjoyed years of adventure on his sailboat the Sea Toy and religiously took yearly summer/winter trips around the world!! Pop-pop (named by the grandkids) MOST loved his travels to Lucerne, Switzerland & Lake Como, Italy.

Pops' kindness, steadiness, generosity & upbeat nature will be missed profoundly.
