Anna Maria "Tobey" Thompson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at home in Redondo Beach, California.

Tobey is survived by son Brandt Thompson and his wife Lisa, son Todd Thompson and his wife Dana; daughter Dana Price and her husband Andy. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Mack, Zack, Jake, Nick, Luke, Liam and Leila; brother Tony Busching and wife Carol; sister Marti Meehan; and nieces Alisa Allen, Jamie Vels, Jenifer Marvin, and nephew Bill Salyer.

Tobey is preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 1987; and her son, Trevor in 2002.

Born July 29, 1942, in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of the late Levi and Marcella Busching. Tobey attended Inglewood High School. She worked in the legal, charter boat, entertainment, clothing and retail industries.

Tobey's personality was larger than life with an adventurous spirit. She was a world traveler, energetic, creative and trend setting. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.

The family would like to thank those who have provided love and support during these difficult times. Per Tobey's wishes, no services were held as she preferred to be remembered for the live she lived.
