It is with great sadness that the family of Steve John Italiano announce his sudden passing on Friday, March 13th 2020 at the age of 72. Steve was raised in Santa Monica California, and went on to live his adult life in Manhattan Beach. Steve was an accomplished local business owner, serving the South Bay for well over 30 years with his landscape design and construction company. As a young man, Steve enjoyed competitive dirt bike racing. He was a member of the Yamaha racing team and participated in the Baja 500. Steve also had a love for sailing and captained several trips around the Caribbean. Steve enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his cabin in Big Bear, and was a lifelong Laker fan. Steve will be lovingly remembered by his two children Christopher Italiano and Christina Colacino, and his three grandchildren Noah & Liam Italiano and Kira Colacino. Services will be held for the family at Holy Cross Cemetery. A celebration of Steve's life will be held for friends and family at a later date.

Steve was a friend during the late 70's and enjoyed him very much. We shared a lot of laughs and good times together.

Dear Italiano Family,
I'm so very sorry to hear of Steve's passing.
He was far too young.
May you find peace.
